21st International Singing Competition

For its 21st edition, the International Singing Competition of Clermont-Ferrand takes the path of « Bel canto » from Haendel to Rossini and maintains his original mission of new talents discovery, vocal training and high-level professional integration with a prestigious jury chaired by Teresa Berganza.
The competition will lead up to the creation of “L’Atelier lyrique”, which will take place in 2009-2010. At least 10 artists will be engaged in several productions in 2009 and 2010, in Clermont-Ferrand but also in other towns of Auvergne Region, at La Chaise-Dieu Festival, in Lyon Soloists-Bernard Tétu’s season program...
