The jury of the competition is chaired by the famous mezzo-soprano Teresa Berganza. Chosen by the administrative board of the Centre lyrique Clermont-Auvergne, it is composed of a minimum of seven international personalities of the world of opera, theatre and music. Its decisions are definitive. A member of the jury who is or was a master of one of the candidate in the last years, can’t take part neither in the considerations nor in the votes concerning this artist.
